Catholic Charities USA (Alexandria, Va.): Announced the retirement of Sharon Daly, senior adviser on public policy.
Center for Nonprofit Management (Los Angeles): Appointed Regina Birdsell, director of the Office of Ratepayer Advocates at the California Public Utilities Commission (Los Angeles), to be executive director.
Center of Theological Inquiry (Princeton, N.J.): Appointed William Storrar, a professor at Edinburgh U. Divinity School, to be director.
Communications Network (Washington): Appointed Bruce S. Trachtenberg, a communications consultant in Naperville, Ill., and former director of communications at the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation (New York), to be executive director, based in Naperville. He succeeds Amber Khan, who resigned in January.
Fort Mason Foundation (San Francisco): Appointed Rachel J. Malan, executive director of the San Francisco Girls Chorus, to be director of development. The foundation manages the historic Fort Mason Center, which houses museums, theaters, and other nonprofit groups.
Foundation for St. Joseph’s Hospitals (Tampa, Fla.): Appointed Deborah A. Kotch, executive director of the Christus Schumpert Health System Foundation (Shreveport, La.), to be president.
Girl Scouts of the USA (New York): Appointed Norma I. Barquet, executive director of the School Accountability, Department, Language, and Cultural Initiatives at the Detroit Public Schools, to be executive vice president.
