Mary Jo Dunnington, consultant for elementary and secondary education at the North Carolina Network of Grantmakers (Chapel Hill), was appointed vice president for strategic partnerships. This group offers programs for children with academic difficulties.
American Diabetes Association (Alexandria, Va.): Appointed R. Paul Robertson, president and scientific director of the Pacific Northwest Diabetes Research Institute (Seattle) and professor of medicine and pharmacology at the U. of Washington (Seattle), to be president of medicine and science.
American Humane Association (Denver): Appointed Audrey Lang, human-resources director at the Association of Perioperative Nurses (Denver), to be human-resources director.
