Boyer Children’s Clinic (Seattle): Appointed Michael K. Stewart, acting executive director and former assistant director, to be executive director.
Case Western Reserve U., Nonprofit Academic Centers Council (Cleveland): Appointed Sean Shacklett, program director at the Alzheimer’s Association-Cleveland Area Chapter (Beachwood, Ohio), to be executive director. The council comprises academic centers in the United States and around the world that study charities, philanthropy, and volunteerism.
Doane College (Crete, Neb.): Appointed Jerry Wood, former president of Defiance College (Ohio), to be vice president for institutional advancement and marketing.
Dorot (New York): Appointed Mark Meridy, director of operations at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (Washington), to be executive director. Mr. Meridy succeeds Vivian Fenster Ehrlich, who has resigned. Dorot provides social services to older adults and people who take care of them.
Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (Washington): Appointed Charles (Chip) Lyons, director of special initiatives for the global development program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (Seattle), to be president and chief executive officer, effective on January 4. Mr. Lyons will succeed Pamela W. Barnes, who has resigned.
Equal Rights Advocates (San Francisco): Appointed Arcelia Hurtado, a lawyer at California’s Office of the State Public Defender (San Francisco), to be executive director. This organization works for equal rights and economic opportunities for women and girls.
Indiana U. Foundation (Bloomington): Appointed Marsha (Marti) Heil, associate vice president and chief operating officer for university development at Michigan State U. (East Lansing), to be senior vice president for development.
Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.): Appointed Scott Kaufman, director of strategic initiatives, to be chief executive officer. Mr. Kaufman succeeds Ronald P. Aronson, who will serve as a senior development adviser.
Marietta College (Ohio): Appointed Brandee Norris, program manager for the masters division at RuffaloCody (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), to be director of the Marietta Fund.
Mitchell Museum of the American Indian (Evanston, Ill.): Announced the resignation of John N. Low, executive director. He will become a faculty member at the U. of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Mt. Hood Community College (Gresham, Ore.): Appointed Cassie McVeety, vice president for university relations at Portland State U., to be president of its foundation as well as vice president for college advancement.
National Family Caregivers Association (Kensington, Md.): Appointed David Schulbaum, director of marketing at the Bureau of National Affairs, Tax Management Division (Arlington, Va.), to be director of marketing and development.
PEN American Center (New York): Appointed Steven L. Isenberg, a visiting professor of humanities at the U. of Texas at Austin, to be executive director. Mr. Isenberg succeeds Michael Roberts, who has resigned.
Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota (Minneapolis): Appointed Jana K. Olslund, a senior associate at Bentz Whaley Flessner (Minneapolis), to be vice president and chief development officer.
Project Transitions (Austin, Tex.): Appointed Alan Washington, executive director of the Harlem Directors Group (New York), to be executive director. He succeeds Charlotte Hale, who has retired. This organization provides hospice services, housing, and support to people with HIV and AIDS.
Texas Bar Foundation (Austin): Appointed Andrea Stone, administrator, to be executive director.
Trust for the National Mall (Washington): Appointed Robert Lee Balthaser, director of the campaign for scholarships at the U. of Maryland at College Park, to be vice president of development.
U. of California at San Francisco: Appointed Carol L. Moss, chairman of institutional relations and development at the Cleveland Clinic, to be vice chancellor for development and alumni relations.
Urban Land Institute (Washington): Appointed Patrick L. Phillips, president and chief executive officer of ERA AECOM (Los Angeles), to be chief executive officer. Mr. Phillips succeeds Richard M. Rosan, who will become president of the institute’s foundation. This organization conducts research and educates the public about responsible land use.
Yorkville Common Pantry (New York): Appointed Stephen Grimaldi, deputy executive director at Urban Pathways (New York), to be executive director.

Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley (San Jose, Calif.): Appointed Ron Gonzales, former mayor of San Jose, to be president and chief executive officer. Mr. Gonzales succeeds Teresa Alvarado, who has resigned.

The foundation has also appointed Sarah Kelley, executive director of the Southeastern Massachusetts Agricultural Partnership (North Dartmouth), to be senior program officer.
Jack Kent Cooke Foundation (Lansdowne, Va.): Appointed Lawrence Kutner, co-founder and co-director of the Center for Mental Health and Media at Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston), to be executive director. Mr. Kutner succeeds Matthew Quinn, who has retired.
