Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas (Austin): Appointed Angie Adams, chief financial officer at Greenlights for Nonprofit Success (Austin), to be vice president of finance and operations.

Casting for Recovery (Manchester, Vt.): Appointed Lori Simon, state director of the March of Dimes-Montana Big Sky Chapter (Billings), to be executive director.

Children’s Aid Society (New York): Announced the retirement of C. Warren Moses, chief executive officer, effective by the end of 2009.

City U. of New York, Baruch College: Appointed Mark Gibbel, associate dean for development and alumni relations at New York U. Faculty of Arts and Science, to be vice president for college advancement.

College Horizons (Pena Blanca, N.M.): Appointed Carmen Lopez, executive director of the Harvard U. Native American Program (Cambridge, Mass.), to be executive director. Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers (Arlington, Va.): Appointed Michael Litz, chief executive officer at OneWorld United States (Washington), to be president and chief executive officer.

Genetic Alliance (Washington): Appointed Natasha F. Bonhomme, program manager, to be director of strategic development, and Kristi Zonno, program manager at the Rhode Island Newborn Screening Program at the Rhode Island Department of Health (Providence), to be director of genetics and health policy. Genetic Alliance helps advocacy organizations seek more money for research on genetic testing and the development of new technologies.

Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (New York): Appointed John Tedstrom, executive director, to be president and chief executive officer.

Growth Philanthropy Network (New York): Appointed Karen Goodheart, former managing director at Citi Private Bank Law Firm Group (New York), to be senior consultant for adviser relations; Bernard Morse, former director at UJA Federation of New York, to be vice president of growth capital; and Janice Schoos, senior managing director at Changing Our World (New York), to be director of adviser relations.

Habitat for Humanity International (Americus, Ga.): Announced the death of its founder, Millard Fuller, on February 3. He was 74. (See article on Page 27. )

Holistic Management International (Albuquerque): Appointed Peter Holter, executive director for Albuquerque, to be chief executive officer. Also appointed: Kelly Bee, director of finance, to be chief financial officer, and Jutta von Gontard, director of development, to be senior director of philanthropy. The organization provides training and consulting services to ranchers, farmers, government agencies, environmental advocacy groups, and other nonprofit groups that manage large tracts of land.

International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission (New York): Appointed Cary Alan Johnson, senior Africa specialist and manager of its Cape Town office, to be executive director.

Joyful Heart Foundation (New York): Appointed Jeannette Kossuth, director of client services at the New York City Anti-Violence Project, to be clinical program director. This organization aids victims of sexual assault.

Kimbell Art Museum (Fort Worth): Appointed Eric Lee, director of the Taft Museum of Art (Cincinnati), to be director.

Museum of Latin American Art (Long Beach, Calif.): Announced the death of its founder, Robert Gumbiner, on January 20. He was 85.

New Jersey Performing Arts Center (Newark): Appointed Bobbie Arbesfeld, vice president and chief financial officer, to be executive vice president and chief operating officer, and Warren Tranquada, partner and co-founder of Aperio, a social-enterprise consulting company in Newark, N.J., to be vice president and chief financial officer.

Project Hope (Millwood, Va.): Appointed Stuart Myers, former deputy vice president for global health, to be senior vice president. Project Hope is an international health-education and humanitarian-assistance organization.

Project Inform (San Francisco): Announced the death of its founder, Martin Delaney, on January 23. He was 63. Project Inform is an AIDS advocacy organization.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Los Angeles County Affiliate: Appointed Catherine Mullally, president and chief executive officer of CMC Group, a business-consulting company in New York, to be executive director.

Texas Christian U. (Fort Worth): Appointed David Dibble, director of regional development, to be director of development for the Neeley School of Business.
