Children’s Partnership (Washington): Appointed Ken Kelly, a staff lawyer and lobbyist for the food-safety program at the Center for Science in the Public Interest (Washington), to be director of the Washington office. This advocacy and policy group works to improve children’s health and education.

Coalition Against Trafficking in Women International (New York): Appointed Gunilla Ekberg, adviser on prostitution and trafficking in human beings for the government of Sweden (Bromma), to be executive director for Europe, based in Brussels, and Norma Ramos, an environmental-justice lawyer in New York, to be executive director, based in New York.
