Career Transition for Dancers (New York): Appointed Alexander J. Dubé, retired administrator of dance at the American Guild of Musical Artists (New York), to be executive director.

Career Visions (Louisville, Ky.): Appointed April S. Croslin, development and marketing coordinator, to be director of development.

Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (Washington): Appointed John J. Audley, trade-policy coordinator at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (Washington), to be a senior associate.

Case Western Reserve U. (Cleveland): Appointed Russell F. Catanese, retired executive director of the American Cancer SocietyCuyahoga County Unit (Cleveland), to be interim associate dean of development and alumni affairs for the School of Medicine. He succeeds Duncan Hartley, who now serves as assistant vice president for planned giving in the department of university relations and development.

National Humanities Center (Research Triangle Park, N.C.): Announced the resignation of W. Robert Connor, director, effective September 1, 2002.

National Trust for Historic Preservation (Washington): Appointed Stanley A. Lowe, executive director of the Housing Authority for the City of Pittsburgh, to be vice president for community revitalization. Brown, who resigned after serving the group since its formation in 1984.

Providence Portland Medical Center (Ore.): Appointed Kathy Lynch Hostetler, director of major gifts at Sidwell Friends School (Washington), to be director of development for the Robert W. Franz Cancer Research Center.

Texas Wesleyan U. (Fort Worth): Appointed Gina McLendon Phillips, annual-giving officer, to be director of alumni relations.

W.H. Brady Foundation (Maggie Valley, N.C.): Appointed Elizabeth P. Pungello, director and granddaughter of the founder, William H. Brady Jr., to be president. She succeeds her mother, Elizabeth Brady Lurie, who retired but will continue to serve as director emeritus.

Columbus Foundation (Ohio): Announced the resignation of James I. Luck, president, effective January 1, 2002. He will continue to serve the foundation as senior fellow and president emeritus.

Community Foundation for Southeastern Michigan (Detroit): Appointed Thomas M. Woiwode, a consultant with the foundation, to be director of the GreenWays Initiative.

J. Paul Getty Trust (Los Angeles): Appointed Bradley W. Wells, assistant vice chancellor for financial services at the California State U. System (Long Beach), to be vice president for finance.

Philip & Janice Levin Foundation (North Plainfield, N.J.): Janice H. Levin, president, died on March 23 at age 87. Ms. Levin also was a board member for the School of the American Ballet (New York).
