The ALS Association offers support to individuals with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, and to their families. He succeeds Ellyn Phillips, who now will serve as president of the Board of Overseers.
Atlanta Opera: Appointed Harrison Perry, director of development and marketing at the Southeastern Flower Show (Atlanta), to be director of development.
Boys Hope Girls Hope (St. Louis): Appointed Paul Minorini, director of organizational advancement, to be chief executive officer.
Carnegie Hall (New York): Appointed Robert J. Harth, president and chief executive officer at the Aspen Music Festival and School (Colo.), to be executive and artistic director.
Chapman U. (Orange, Calif.): Appointed Annamaria Antoni, regional coordinator at the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Los Angeles), to be director of development for the School of Business and Economics; Barbara Bauer, former advancement officer at California State U. at Long Beach, to be director of development for the School of Music and the School of Communication; and Amy Esposito, former coordinator of the annual fund at La Sierra U. Chrysalis (Los Angeles): Appointed Adlai Wertman, chairman of the board and managing director of the West Coast regional public investment-banking group at Prudential Securities (New York), to be president and chief executive officer. Committee to Encourage Corporate Philanthropy (New York): Appointed Charles H. Moore, deputy to the chairmen, to be executive director. He succeeds Paul M. Ostergard, who is now the head of Junior Achievement International (New York).
Coro Northern California (San Francisco): Appointed Maureen McNulty, director of marketing and development at the Children’s Health Council (Palo Alto, Calif.), to be executive director. Coro offers postgraduate training in leadership and public affairs and policy.
