National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy (Washington): Robert O. Bothwell, executive director and president, will become president emeritus and senior fellow, effective this fall. He has served as president throughout the organization’s 22-year history; the search for a new president is under way.
Northwestern Memorial Foundation (Chicago): Appointed Suzanne Ryan Curran Dalston, vice-president for the Memorial Foundation at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System (Houston), to be vice-president for fund development. N.M.F. is the fund-raising arm of Northwestern Memorial Hospital, the primary teaching hospital of the Northwestern U. Medical School.

Public/Private Ventures (Philadelphia): Appointed the Rev. Harold Dean Trulear, a professor of church and society at New York Theological Seminary and a senior fellow at Public/Private Ventures’ Partnership for Research on Religion and At-Risk Youth, to be vice-president for new projects that involve churches in working with high-risk urban youths.
Public Radio International (Minneapolis): Appointed Eleanor Harris, vice-president of marketing services at the West Group (St. Paul), the legal-publishing arm of the Thomson Corporation, to be senior vice-president and director of marketing.

Resourceful Women is a non-profit membership organization that helps women make educated choices related to spending, contributing, and investing money.

The Search Institute (Minneapolis): Appointed Mary Ackerman, vice-president for external affairs at Shattuck-St. Mary’s School (Faribault, Minn.), to be associate director of the national-initiatives division; James Sipe, former executive director of Project Family (Minneapolis), to be training manager; Terri Sullivan, senior vice-president at Padilla Speer Beardsley Public Relations (Minneapolis), to be senior consultant for training and consulting services; and Cynthia Wilcox, a training and organizational-development consultant, to be director of the new training and consulting-services division. The Trickle Up Program (New York): Glen Leet, co-founder and co-president, died April 7 at the age of 89. He and his wife, Mildred Robbins Leet, founded Trickle Up, which supports microenterprise projects run by poor people in developing countries, in 1979. He had also served as president of Save the Children Federation (Westport, Conn.) and as chief of community development at the United Nations (New York).
