Combined Health Agencies Drive of Nebraska (Omaha): Appointed Gerri L. Plautz, program director, to be associate director.

Samuel Bronfman Foundation (New York): Appointed Richard Marker, vice-president of special projects and international affairs at Hillel: the Foundation for Jewish Campus Life (Washington), to be executive vice-president.

Fund of the Four Directions (New York): Appointed Ingrid Washinawatok, co-director, to be executive director. The fund also named Alexa Aviles, program assistant and grants administrator, to be program officer. The Fund of the Four Directions was created in 1990; its grant making focuses on American Indians, with an emphasis on language restoration.

W. K. Kellogg Foundation (Battle Creek, Mich.): Appointed Barbara J. Sabol, former president and chief executive of the NorthStar Group (Washington) and commissioner for New York City’s Human Resources Administration, to be program director in health, and Philip J. Scamihorn, a professor in the computer-information-systems program at U. of Detroit Mercy, to be senior business analyst.

Marin Community Foundation (Larkspur, Cal.): Appointed Michael Groza, vice-president for community programs, to be acting chief executive officer and president. He succeeds Stephen M. Dobbs, who resigned in January to pursue a career in publishing and higher education. The foundation also appointed Marsha Bonner, former associate director of the Aaron Diamond Foundation (New York), to be vice-president for programs.

William Penn Foundation (Philadelphia): Appointed Helen Davis Picher, senior program officer for the natural environment, to be vice-president for programs. She succeeds C. Richard Cox, who retired in January.

Pew Charitable Trusts (Philadelphia): Appointed Ronald B. Lewis, a member of the law firm of Caplin & Drysdale (Washington), to be executive vice-president and general counsel, effective May 1.

Philadelphia Foundation: Carrolle Fair Perry, president, has announced her resignation, effective April 22. She will remain active on several Philadelphia-area boards and will work to establish a community foundation in the Caribbean.

Chicago Community Trust: Elected James Glasser, chairman emeritus of GATX (Chicago), to be chairman of the Executive Committee. The foundation also elected the following to the committee: Prudence Beidler, a volunteer in the Chicago area; Heather Morgan Bilandic, founding executive director of the Chicago Council on Fine Arts; and Martin (Mike) Koldyke, chairman of the Frontenac Company (Chicago).

The Society of Manufacturing Engineers Education Foundation (Dearborn, Mich.): Elected Eugene M. Nelson, director of advanced manufacturing pre-program engineering at the Ford Motor Company (Dearborn), to be president.
