American Heart Association (Dallas): Appointed Janet M. Brooks, senior program director for minority program initiatives at the association’s Western States Affiliate (Los Angeles), to be program vice president for the National Minority Initiatives program. American Humanics (Kansas City, Mo.): Appointed Barbara J. Keener, a member of the graduate faculty in the department of educational leadership, policy, and foundations at the U. of Florida (Gainesville), to be vice president for academic partnerships. American Humanics helps universities and charities work together to train undergraduate students for careers with nonprofit organizations.

Catholic Health Association of the United States (St. Louis): Appointed Michael F. Rodgers, senior director for government relations, to be vice president for public policy and advocacy.
