American Association for Higher Education (Washington): Announced the resignation of Margaret A. Miller, president, effective August 1 or once a successor is named, whichever comes first.

American National Red Cross (Washington): Appointed Jacquelyn Frederick, acting chief operating officer for blood services and former vice-president for blood services in the North Central Area (Detroit), to be chief operating officer for blood services.

American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (New York): Appointed Leida Snow, director of development in the New York office of People For the American Way (Washington), to be senior communications officer.
