The Coexistence Initiative (New York): Appointed Eric S. Nonacs, executive director of Co-operation Ireland U.S.A. (New York), to be executive director. This organization works to educate policy makers and the public on issues surrounding social diversity.
College of St. Catherine (St. Paul): Appointed Angelo Gentile, a communications consultant and freelance journalist based in St. Cloud, Minn., to be media-relations manager.

This group provides tutors and mentors for children from poor neighborhoods, focusing on an entire school class or children of a particular age, and also giving tuition assistance for higher education.
Indiana State U. (Terre Haute): Appointed Connie Flood, director of advancement services at College of Saint Benedict (St. Joseph, Minn.) and Saint John’s U. (Collegeville, Minn.), to be director of advancement services.
Jane Addams Hull House Association (Chicago): Appointed Clarence Wood, president of the Human Relations Foundation of Chicago, to be president and chief executive officer, effective October 1. He will succeed Gordon Johnson, who is retiring.
