Beaver Street Enterprise Center (Jacksonville, Fla.): Appointed Rumbellis (Rum) Robinson, founder and owner of Flantastic Enterprises (Jacksonville), to be manager. The center is a religious organization that supports projects to spur economic development and restore homes in the Jacksonville area.
Bizworld Foundation (Redwood City, Calif.): Appointed Catherine Hutton, director of Fortrend International (San Francisco), to be executive director. The foundation provides elementary and secondary schools with teaching materials for classes on starting and operating a business.

San Francisco Art Institute: Ella King Torrey, president from 1995 to 2002, died April 30. Ms. Torrey had also been a program officer at the Pew Charitable Trusts (Philadelphia) from 1985 to 1991. She was 45.
Scholarship America (Minneapolis): Appointed Sheila Bayle-Lissick, major-gifts officer at the Raptor Center (St. Paul), a part of the College of Veterinary Medicine, U. of Minnesota-Twin Cities (Minneapolis), to be director for grants and research.
