Philanthropist Spends $25-Million to Go Into Orbit

The American billionaire and philanthropist, Charles Simonyi, paid $25-million to join a rocket trip to the international space station on Saturday, the Associated Press reports.
Mr. Simonyi, a 58-year-old native of Hungary, was the fifth person to have paid his way to take a space trip.
