Profiles of Major Corporate Foundations and Corporate Charitable-Giving Programs

July 25, 2002 | Read Time: 1 minute

Corporate Giving Directory, 2003, edited by Laurie J. Fundukian, profiles companies that make annual contributions of at least $200,000, including non-cash gifts, to charities. This reference work provides detailed profiles that include giving preferences, application procedures, and contact information. Corporations are listed in alphabetical order, and each listing includes a description of the company, contact information, and operating locations. If a company has a direct-giving program, information such as recent giving figures, typical recipients, and the program’s contact information are included. The listing also notes the type of events or causes the company sponsors, and annual giving figures. A section on restrictions lists organizations and activities not financed by particular philanthropic programs, and another section notes information on what kinds of grants, products, or volunteer time a company supports.
