For its efforts to provide clothing, health care, and shelter to needy people: $25,000 to Martha’s Village and Kitchen (Indio, Calif.).
COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SERVING RICHMOND AND CENTRAL VIRGINIA
For a program that places homeless families in permanent housing and connects them to services to help them achieve long-term independence: $100,000 to Homeward (Richmond, Va.).
FREY FOUNDATION
For efforts to end homelessness in Minnesota: $5,000,000 to Heading Home Minnesota (Minneapolis).
GULF COAST COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
To construct a transitional-housing center: $250,000 to Pass Christian Delisle Community Center (Gulfport, Miss.).
NATIONWIDE FOUNDATION
For hunger relief: $300,000 to Feeding America and 15 member food banks.
NINA MASON PULLIAM CHARITABLE TRUST
To provide basic needs: $4,794,000 to be divided among 87 nonprofit organizations in the Indianapolis and Phoenix areas.
STOCKER FOUNDATION
To provide food to homeless and low-income residents of Elyria, Lorain, and Oberlin, Ohio: $30,000 to Helping Hands Feeding Foundation (Elyria, Ohio).
