Viktor Vekselberg, a Russian mining and oil billionaire, plans to spend millions to open two art museums in St. Petersburg and Moscow, reports The Art Newspaper. According to Vladimir Voronchenko, president of Mr. Vekselberg’s foundation, the museums will include works from the billionaire’s private collection, which is estimated to be worth about $120-million. He declined to say how much the museum project would cost.
