Senator Omits Foundation Role in Filings
August 3, 2006
Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, a Republican, failed to list in Senate disclosure forms that he and his wife are sole trustees of a family foundation, reports the Associated Press.
Bob Stevenson, a spokesman for the senator, said the omission was inadvertent and would be corrected.
The family foundation had more than $2-million in assets in 2004.
