Several California Human-Service Groups Consolidate

In one of several California mergers, Mountain Community Resources, a Felton, Calif., human-service group plans to merge with Community Bridges, in Aptos, Calif., the San Jose Mercury News reports. The merger should be finalized in November. Last year another area nonprofit, the Beach Flats Community Center, in Santa Cruz, Calif., merged with Community Bridges.
