Occupation: Founder of the Kuyu Project
Charitable work: Mr. Oriko teaches Kenyan youths how to use social media and other digital tools to promote social change through the Kuyu Project, a digital literacy program. He is also a fellow at the Code4Kenya program, which focuses on developing digital applications, such as tools that make it easier for Kenyans to find schools and health care or monitor crime trends and election issues. He is also the co-founder of Story Spaces, a digital storytelling platform.
