Sri Lanka Violence Hampers Work of Aid Organizations

Surging political violence between the government and separatist rebels in Sri Lanka has hobbled the work of international aid groups helping victims of the Indian Ocean tsunamis, reports The New York Times.
Aid workers increasingly have been targets of attacks in recent weeks. In the worst violence, 17 employees of Action Against Hunger were killed this month. The killings remain unsolved.
