Lesbian Donor Research Project: Final Report, prepared by J. Bourge Hathaway, Julia Fitz-Randolph, and Paul Ideker, summarizes a project undertaken by the Gill Foundation, in Colorado Springs, that analyzed the giving habits of lesbians based on 98 responses to a survey. According to the report’s findings, lesbians prefer solicitations that are direct and concise, with a minimum of sentiment attached; want to see exactly how a contribution can help solve a problem; and tune out solicitations that cater to them first and foremost as lesbians.
