Bjorn Borg, the Swedish tennis star who won 11 grand-slam titles in his career, raised more than $10,000 for breast-cancer research by auctioning the racket he used during his 1976 Wimbledon win, reports the Reuters news agency.
Mr. Borg said earlier this year that he would sell some of his memorabilia because his family needed financial security, but he later withdrew the items from sale.
