A prominent think tank has announced a name change, reports The Wall Street Journal.
The Institute for International Economics, a nonpartisan organization that focuses on international economic policy, said it will become the Peter G. Peterson Institute for International Economics. The new name honors the institute’s founding chairman. Mr. Peterson is a former U.S. Secretary of Commerce and has been board chairman since the institute’s founding in 1981.
The institute has also announced a capital campaign to raise $50-million for its endowment.
