Tiger Woods Plans to Open Washington Center

Golfer Tiger Woods announced he will expand his personal foundation by opening a nonprofit youth center in Washington, reports The Washington Post.

The Tiger Woods Learning Center, a $25-million foundation in Anaheim, Calif., which opened in February 2006, educates children about career options. Mr. Woods said the creation of a Washington branch would be the first step in a plan to make the center a national organization.
