TIME’S PERSONS OF THE YEAR
December 19, 2005
Time magazine has divided its annual “Person of the Year” honor in 2005 among three advocates for improved global health:Bill and Melinda Gates and the rock star Bono. The magazine said it chose them “for being shrewd about doing good, for rewiring politics and re-engineering justice, for making mercy smarter and hope strategic, and then daring the rest of us to follow.”
