Tribune Foundation Decides to Cash In Shares

The Robert R. McCormick Tribune Foundation has decided to cash in its 28 million shares as the Tribune media company is about to go private, reports the Chicago Tribune.

The foundation owns 11.6 percent of the company’s shares. The Tribune Company will offer $34 per share, a deal that will net the organization approximately $952-million.
