Trump Moves to Relax Limits on Nonprofit Politicking

President Trump hopes to sign an executive order Thursday that loosens restrictions on churches and other religious groups’ political activities, according to The New York Times. It was not immediately clear if the executive order would affect other types of nonprofits, which face some limits on political activity under the federal tax code, a rule sometimes referred to as the Johnson Amendment.
