Two Florida Hospital Systems Announce Merger

Adventist Health System, in Winter Park, Fla., and University Community Health, in Tampa, have merged to form one health-care entity, according to the Orlando Business Journal. As part of the merger agreement, Adventist plans to invest $125-million, will assume University Community Health’s debt, and will give its foundation $10-million.
