Two Pacific Northwest Hospitals Merge

PeaceHealth, a Bellevue, Wash. hospital chain, and Southwest Washington Medical Center, in Vancouver, have finalized their merger according to The Columbian newspaper. The two organizations, which started discussing a merger nine months ago, will combine operations under the new name of PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.
