Two Pittsburgh Health Charities Merge
June 21, 2010
The Multiple Sclerosis Service Society and United Cerebral Palsy Community Living and Support Services, both in Pittsburgh, are merging, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The merger, which goes into effect on July 1, is the culmination of talks between the two groups that began in 2008, as the economic crisis was threatening to shutter the Multiple Sclerosis Service Society.
