Two State Health-System Planning Groups Consider Merger

The Central New York Health Systems Agency, in East Syracuse, and the Health Advancement Collaborative of Central New York, in Syracuse, have announced they have started to discuss a merger, reports The Post-Standard. Grants totaling $1-million from New York State and other sources will enable the two nonprofits to study their possible future together and how a combined organization might meet the health needs of the state’s residents.
