University of Tennessee Receives $32.5-Million

Jim and Natalie Haslam, of Knoxville, Tenn., have given $32.5-million to the University of Tennessee, the university announced. Mr. Haslam is chairman of Pilot, a chain of gas stations based in Knoxville, and the couple both graduated from the university in 1952.
The gift will support the athletics department, the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy, the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business Administration, and the endowment.
