The embattled Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff has been misusing tax-exempt nonprofit organizations for the past decade, reports the Los Angeles Times. Mr. Abramoff admitted in a plea agreement that he manipulated donations to numerous charities, both real and fabricated, for tax evasion, bribery, and personal gain.
