Volunteer Theater Group Shuts Down

The Corvallis Community Theatre, a 48-year-old volunteer theater group in Corvallis, Ore., plans to shut its doors for good, according to the Corvallis Gazette Times. A board official at the group told the newspaper that the theater company can no longer survive due to the tough economy, a declining volunteer base, and other factors.
