Advice for New Fundraisers

What do you wish you had known when you were beginning your fundraising career? What advice would you give people just starting out?

We caught up with several people who raise money for a variety of groups at the recent Association of Fundraising Professionals conference in Baltimore and asked them those questions.

While the job may be tough, their advice is simple: Speak up, listen to your heart, and seek out experienced fundraisers to learn from.
